San Juan, Capital City of Puerto Rico, was founded in 1521, and is recognized as one of the oldest cities in the American Hemisphere. It has a population of 437,745, and has around 47.5 square miles. San Juan offers a beautiful and ample catalog of century’s old fortification work, constituting one of our dearest symbols of identity as a people in the world.
