About Hawaii Big Island Visitors Bureau:

The Big Island Visitors Bureau oversees the tourism marketing for the island of Hawaii, site of Hawaii’s only World Heritage site. BIVB’s mission is to create sustainable, diversified, travel demand for the island of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island. The BIVB is a chapter of the statewide Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau, a private, non-profit organization which promotes leisure and business travel, and acts as a catalyst for enhancing Hawaii's wide-ranging visitor experiences, while creating economic opportunities through tourism.

• Educating customers about World Heritage
  
• Supporting community development around World Heritage sites
  
• Engaging employees to support the local community
  
• Supporting the United Nations in its efforts
