- Implementing the World Heritage Alliance principles
by promoting the hotels, tour operators, and other local providers who offer visitors the most authentic and responsible way to interact with the natural, cultural, and historic sites in World Heritage areas.
- Participating in staff training programs
about World Heritage and sustainable tourism through product research and online courses.
- Educating customers about World Heritage
by promoting principles of sustainable tourism through interpretive content on audio programs, as well as information on maps, and web sites. These principles include such topics as awareness of the local culture, promotion of recycling, habitat preservation, and tips for minimum impact on cultural artifacts.
- Supporting community development around World Heritage sites
